Hanging Out With Daddy!

Jeremy was off of school today so he kept Adlee home from daycare so they could hang out. Today is office trick or treat at my work so he is bringing her to work in her costume. He texted me a few pictures today that I had to post because they are so cute. They went to lunch at O'Charley's, then went to Barnes and Noble to look at books! Sounds like a great day to me!

Our Weekend!

Jeremy and I took off this weekend to Iowa City to visit friends. Our friends Sean and Tiffany and their boys Luke and Ben live there. Although the Iowa Hawkeye's did not play the Illini, we still ventured out to a game and to tailgate. It was fun to see how other Big 10 schools do it. Adlee stayed home with her Grandparents so we were glad to get home to her Sunday and see our sweet baby girl. We missed her so. It was a great little weekend away though.

Crazy Girl!

We have had a great couple of days. Adlee and I hung out while Daddy was out of town for a Conference. We had great girl time and read lots of books and laughed.

This weekend before Jeremy left, we headed to Farm N Fleet Toyland. It opened Saturday so we wanted to go check the toys as they always have great prices on things. After Toyland we went to ToysRUs because we want to get Adlee a kitchen for Christmas and we wanted to see some on display. Adlee had a ball running around both stores pointing things out. She would say "That" at several things. She did talk her Daddy into buying her a little LeapFrog computer.

The girl is obsessed with books! I am not complaining at all but we read the same books over and over. So I gave her her Elmo (Eh-mo) book for the ride home Saturday. I took this picture, she looked so serious studying her book.

Sunday morning Adlee got up and played with her new computer!

This little girl has been crazy the last couple of days. She has been cutting molars. She has been a trooper through the whole process. While it was just her and I she was so sweet giving me kisses and just giggling up a storm. Right before bed she would get really hyper for some reason. I am sure she was just tired and the minute her head hit the bed she was out like a light.

Adlee is going to be so excited. She loves Elmo and pretty much anything Sesame Street. She knows Big Bird and Abby Cadabby and of course Eh-mo. I got us tickets to to see Sesame Street Live in November. So excited and can't wait to see her reaction!

Fall Fun!

We have been having fun enjoying the gorgeous weather. Adlee wants to go shouside (outside) all the time! She loves to go outside and play with rocks.

This weekend I made a Birthday banner for a little boy who is turning 1. The banner turned out really cute. Here is a sneak peek. I don't want to show the whole thing since the Mom has not seen it yet.























Adlee had a party in her crib over the weekend. She had woke up from her morning nap and kept falling down in her crib. She was playing and not wanting to get out. She points to her new Halloween pj's and says "Cat". She says so many words I can't even tell all the words she says. And she repeats everything we say!























While outside, she enjoys rocking in her rocking chair on the front porch!























Adlee is obsessed with books. She brings us books to read her when we are home and inside. She would rather read books than play with her other toys. And we read the books over and over. Which we don't mind because she is learning as we are reading and she sits on our laps.

Playdate in the Park!

Yesterday, our local photographer hosted a "Playdate in the Park". Where families could come to the park and they snapped pics of the little ones playing. We went and here is a little preview! I get 2 free 5x7's so I am glad she got at least 1 good picture. We were a little worried since it fell right at Adlee's nap time!

Celebrating Daddy's Birthday!

Jeremy's Birthday was September 21st. We celebrated by going to our favorite Mexican restaurant. I made Jeremy a homemade New York cheesecake. He got balloons from his parents and Adlee loved them! She also enjoyed reading books with her Daddy on his birthday. Jeremy got some good gifts and I think he had a really great birthday! Fun times!

Punkin Patch Fun! Just a few pics I took at the Punkin Patch today! Adlee loved it! She loved picking out Pumpkins. Only problem is she wanted all of them...and she loved taking the price tag off of all of them! We shared a pumpkin donut and apple cider slush.
