A Little of This and That!

We had a wonderful weekend just hanging out. Jeremy was in a golf outing near Chicago so my Mom came over Saturday and hung out with us so I could clean my closet. It feels really good to have a clean clost. Last week Adlee was given this Minnie sleeping bag from a gal I have known since I was little. Her daughters had this sleeping bag when they were little and it is about 10 years old and is in perfect condition. You would have thought Adlee won the lottery (if she knew what that meant). She was on cloud 9 and just loves this sleeping bag.

Friday we both wore our Official from London Olympic shirts!
Jeremy and I have started a new healthy routine.  We are doing Isagenix which is an All Natural weight loss, supplement, daily cleanse routine that makes you feel great and removes toxins and artificial sweeteners from your body.  Jeremy had originally started low carb and has lost about 40 lbs prior to starting Isagenix.  Jeremy's sister is proud of us for being healthy so she sent us this awesome scale!  It was so thoughtful of her and we really love it!
Friday night we had breakfast for dinner.  Adlee had jelly from her toast pretty much from ear to ear!
Saturday evening it was so nice out, Adlee, my Mom and I went on a walk.  Adlee was just chillin in her stroller reading a book.  She was too cute.
Another fun shirt from London...I heart Mum!

Adlee's First Field Trip!

Adlee had her first field trip Friday. They went to Dairy Queen and had Dilly Bars. Jeremy helped chaperone the field trip as I was unable to be away from work. I plan to help out at Halloween and Christmas though. I am looking forward to helping out. Jeremy said it was a lot of fun! He texted me pictures because I was dying to see how it was going. They got to ride on the little busses.

Picture from Paris and Official Olympic Shirts

Jeremy's Mom just spent a few weeks in London visiting Adlee's aunt and uncle and cousins. She brought us back some fun things! Adlee is wearing her official Olympic shirt today! She has another one to wear too, maybe this week or next. Jeremy and I also got Official Olympic shirts, I plan to wear mine on Friday for casual day. Adlee also got a fun print of her name. It is hand painted and came from Paris!

Happy 5th Anniversary!

July 21st we celebrated our 5th Anniversary!
We decided a little getaway to St. Louis would be fun so just the two of us went for the night.  We did a quick shopping trip to St. Louis Galleria.  We stayed at Harrah's so we did a little gambling and went to a Cubs/Cards game that night which our seats were amazing!  We got our tickets to the game for free from a friend and our room at Harrah's was free so it was a fun night!  We typically do not get the cheesey fan photos done but since it was our 5 year anniversary we decided to do something funny in the pictures since it had the date on it!  It was a fun night away just the two of us!

This and That!

All of us (minus the doggies) in the Darnell house got new beds recently. Jeremy and I have been wanting a King size bed for quite sometime so we ended up getting one. At the same time we got the full size mattress for Adlee's bed. Her crib converted to a Toddler bed and a Full size bed. She was not sleeping the greatest in the Toddler bed so we decided to try the full size bed and she has been sleeping great! We do not have her bed up against a wall and I bought 2 rails to go on her bed but only 1 rail will work, they both will not fit on there at the same time. So we have put pillows on the floor by her bed in case she does fall out, which has not happened yet, knock on wood. I am hoping she does not fall out.
Our new King Size bed!
My Grandma, Mom, Adlee and I got Generations pictures taken and I found this frame at Gordman's for $12 that works out perfect for our hand picture!
Adlee's new bed!  We got her bedding at TJ Maxx.  It has a bright pink print on the opposite side.  We got her a sheet set of jersey type sheets at Target as well.
Adlee inherited her Daddy's Care Bears on the 4th of July.  She has this one and the pink one that has 2 hearts on it.
We spent the majority of the 4th inside doing things around the house!  It was way too hot outside.  Adlee was able to play in her pool a little bit that morning and we were able to go to Fireworks that night.  Jeremy's parents were over to help out so we could get some things done.  We got our beds all in order and cleaned our basement just a little bit.  We also grilled out yummy dinner!
I was off of work Thursday and Friday.  We had Drs. appointments on Thursday and Friday we decided to go to a pool!  Adlee had so much fun.  She went up and down a Froggy slide probably 100 times.
Playing at the pool!  It was so refreshing on a hot day!  When we got in the car to head home Adlee said "This is fun!"  She had a ball!

She has really been in to hiding and playing hide and seek!  This was her hiding one day!  Her favorite place to hide!
Sunday we ventured over to Pekin for Jeremy's Dad's birthday.  He likes to fish and he likes chocolate so I made him this candy bar bouquet for his birthday!
I thought this picture was precious with all of our kids:)

Adlee got some pretty styling sunglasses this weekend!

Adlee's 4th of July Parade at School

Last Tuesday, Adlee's School had a 4th of July Parade. Jeremy and his parents went to the Parade since they were picking her up from school to meet me for dinner. Jeremy sent me a few pictures during the parade so I could see what was happening and Jan video taped the parade with her Ipad so I was able to watch it later. It was really cute! They had the parade and went back inside for snacks that the parents provided afterwards. Each class did little crafts of different hats, etc to carry during the parade. They also made different artwork and signs to display throughout the school.
This is Adlee's class during the parade.  Adlee is the one in the white shirt and flag looking skirt!
An older class but they were so cute as Statue of Liberty's.
Adlee's class lining up getting ready for the parade.  It was not too long after nap time that is why I suspect she has her finger in her mouth:)
Covering her eyes for some unknown reason!  Must have been hiding from her Daddy and Grandparents.

Playdate with Holden!

Saturday night we got together with our friends Ryan & Chaley and their kids Brianna, Brody and Holden. Holden is 6 months older than Adlee and we are always so busy, both of us, that we find it hard to get together. We seriously planned this 2 months in advance. We have been wanting to see Adlee and Holden play together. They were a hoot! Adlee was really shy at first and it took her a little bit to warm up and then when she did, those two chased each other around the house. The next morning Adlee kept asking me where Holden was and where Chaley was:) The pictures crack me up. They kept going in to Chaley and Ryan's bedroom and hiding in the corner like they were up to no good!
