Christmas Party at Daycare!

Today, Adlee has her Christmas party at daycare. She was all ready this morning and this is the best picture we could get. We tried to get her to stand in front of the tree, but then she would just run towards us! I can't wait to see who got her name in the drawing.
I put together little treat bags for the kids! I also sent sugar cookies today for snack time. Last night when she was taking a bath I said "Adlee, tomorrow is your Christmas party at Vickie's!" and she responded with "Oh boy!". Too cute!

Santa Train 2011

This weekend, the Santa Train came through town. This was a fun experience with Adlee. She had a ball.
We were afraid at how she would react to Santa. She surprised us! She barely wanted to wait her turn, and when it was her turn she went running up to Santa. It was so cute. Jeremy and I should have got it on video but we were too busy trying to corale her and take pictures and all that good stuff.
They gave the cutest little gift bag with a stuffed bear and lots of other goodies, such as an apple, coloring books and crayons, coupons, and lots of other things.
At the end of the train you could take the child in to toot the train's horn.
Another fun thing to do!

A Few Random Pics of Adlee!

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving! It did not go as planned but ended up being great in the long run. I had gotten sick the week of Thanksgiving. We had plans to go see my extended family, aunts, uncles, cousins. I was diagnosed with a double ear infection and sinus infection the day before Thanksgiving. That being said, I was still not quite up to going anywhere Thanksgiving Day. So we hung out at home. Jeremy ended up cooking a very yummy meal. He loves to cook turkeys so he was excited to be able to cook our turkey this year. Jeremy's parents came over that day and enjoyed the dinner with us. They stayed the weekend and was a huge help around our house decorating for Christmas and hanging some pictures up that I wanted hung!

I still had to dress Adlee in her cute dress I got her for Thanksgiving. Even though we were just hanging out around home, I could not see her not wearing this dress! She looked Adorable!

Sesame Street Live!

We took Adlee to Sesame Street Live beginning of November. This was the best money spent! She had a ball and so did Jeremy and I. Just seeing her reaction to all the characters was so worth it. I ordered our tickets on Ticketmaster and they did not have a seating chart to view so I had no idea what kind of seats we would have. Our seats ended up being AWESOME! We were on the end and they staggered the rows so we could see the stage perfect.

We were also worried about it being a waste with Adlee not sitting through the whole show. She sat there and watched the entire time! She got a few souveniers, which was fun as well!

All of her faves, Big Bird, Elmo, Abby, Cook, and Grover:)

Trick or Treat!

I am way behind in blogging. I have been so busy lately that I have not had time. I have been after a very active toddler and busy with hair bow stuff. In addition, I was sick so that set me back as well.

So catching up on some blog posting so expect several posts here....

Adlee came trick or treating to my office the end of October. She was so cute! She figured out quickly that if she went to all the offices she would get candy. She also had to stop every so often and examine what was in her bag. Jeremy had that day off so it worked out well for him to bring her in to trick or treat.

Misc Stuff!

I have been so super busy that I have not had time to do any blog posts. I spent Sunday thru Wednesday last week in Washington DC for work. I attended a conference and didn't have much time for sight seeing but I was able to head to Georgetown area and do a little shopping with a co-worker. We stopped at Georgetown Cupcakes....also known as DC Cakes on TLC.
I missed my baby girl and Jeremy and the doggy doo's very much! Could not wait to get home.

I was able to Skype Adlee Tuesday night from my hotel room! I was glad to see her!

I took off of work Thursday and Friday just to hang out with Adlee. I was exhausted from traveling so I was very glad I took off. She is in to watching Sesame Street and we have to put a limit on how much she watches.

She tried to help me in the kitchen but as you can see, I don't think she was much help!

Love this onry face!

She insisted on feeding herself yogurt this weekend! It was a complete disaster but that is ok...she has to learn somehow!

Jeremy has been super busy with games lately and evening activities. Last night her and I played and she insisted that I have some tea! I still have to post Halloween and Sesame Street Live pics, and I will get around to it hopefully soon!
