Always gives me inspiration for Adlee's next birthday party! Even it is not until months away. Unless she decides to drop Minnie like a bad habit like she did Elmo!

9/11

On my way to work I saw a really cool memorial service for 9/11 at one of the parks downtown. There were many police men and women and firefighters all in uniform with a big American flag hung! I had to stop at the stop light so I snapped a picture of it and thought it was really cool to witness.

What Has Adlee Been Up To?

Adlee has been having a bunch of fun!
She has been going for long walks with her Mom & Dad and going to Dairy Queen for ice cream and the parks to play!

She has been participating in golf cart parades and sitting on family member's tractors!

She has been wearing her Mom's shoes!

And meeting her twin cousins for the 1st time!

She has started playing dress up! Which her Mommy loves, her Daddy is a little unsure:)

She has taken an interest in photography...."say hamburger!"

 Bathtime and watching Mickey's Clubhouse before bed!  Getting a hair cut Saturday before school pictures next week!

And last but not least, telling her Mommy & Daddy she loves them out of the blue and giving random kisses!!!  Our girl is growing way too fast!

Adlee got tubes in her ears!

Adlee got tubes in her ears yesterday. It has been a whirlwind week of Doctors appointments. She is back at daycare today and seems to be back to her normal self.  She has had several ear infections the last couple of months and her ears have not really cleared up. 

I was out of town this past weekend on a girls trip to Florida.  Adlee went to a Kid's Day at the park with her Daddy.  She got these pretty glasses as a prize!



Wednesday night her and I took about a 3 mile walk to Dairy Queen to get her a tasty treat before her surgery Thursday morning.  She was not to eat after midnight and we were worried she would be hungry.

Her little hospital gown was just precious!  This was the only shot I got of her.  I was hoping to get one from the front but I didn't get one.  She did really well waiting for her surgery.  Mom and Dad were nervous of course since she was going under anesthesia but she did great.  She woke up woozy and cranky and cried for quite a while.  By the time we got home she was feeling much better.  We took it wasy all day and all of us took a nap in the afternoon. 

When we left the hospital we stopped at Panera and got her a bagel for the ride home.  She was so hungry she ate it right up.  Not the whole thing, just a half but she was a hungry girl.  I stopped at Target and got her this dress up Minnie since she was a brave little girl at the hospital.

First Day of School!

Everyone is posting pictures about their kids first day of school. I thought I would post Jeremy's picture as a Principal of Middle School kids on the first day back with kids. Obviously he works year round but today is the day the kids come back:)
