Busted....Round 2!

I promise we feed our kid! It may not seem like it in pictures but we really do feed her all her meals....haha!

When I picked her up from daycare yesterday, Vickie said that Adlee may be thirsty tonight. I asked why and she said because she proceeded to help herself to a bag of pepperoni in Vickie's fridge. Oh that girl! Vickie was feeding the baby at daycare and looked at Adlee and she had chipmunk cheeks. Luckily it was the little round pieces of pepperoni!

Football Fun!

This weekend we took Adlee to her first Illini game! She did awesome! She had so much fun at the tailgate and sat and watched the people, the band and the game! We had a couple of other little boys sitting with our group so they helped entertain her! We were surprised that we were able to make it through the half without having to leave! She may have kicked the lady sitting in front of us several times and went back and forth between Jeremy and I and one of Jeremy's buddies but she did great for the most part!

She took a little cat nap before the game. We pulled in to the parking lot and she had just fallen asleep so we stayed in the car for a while before heading to the tailgates!

Last week was Homecoming for our town. This was us in our Red before work/daycare on Friday. We were watching Curious George and the expression on her face is hilarious!

Our neighbor was kind enough to give us this hammy down cheerleading outfit. Adlee looked so cute in it!

These next two pics are just random. Adlee loves crawling in her Pottery Barn chair and just sitting there or "reading" a book. She also loves helping herself to Cheerios and Graham crackers in the cabinet!

More Adlee Randoms!

Our little Adlee Girl got her first hair cut last week! Let me tell you it is adorable! She did really good and the way she had to cut it to get the mullet look away, it now looks like a bob! So cute!

This morning before we left I gave Adlee her Cheerio's. She did not want to snack on them but she thought Lucie did so she was grabbing handfuls and throwing them on the floor. Lucie was her BFF this morning.

Last Friday daycare was closed so I got to take the day off and hang out with Adlee. She has been fighting an ear infection, along with getting molars, and this weekend did not feel well at all. She had a high fever all weekend and was just very lethargic. Made me really sad!

But this is a picture I got of her before she started feeling really puney this weekend!

Last week, Adlee stayed home with her Daddy on Wednesday. He took her to the Dr. Well apparently she thought she was a Mountain Lion because she was climbing the step stool her in closet and she is infatuated with shoes! She always plays with her shoes! He texted me this picture of her!

Friday, she was very busy taking all of her pj's out of her dresser! Thank you Adlee you are such big help!

Such a sweet girl definitely keeping us on our toes!

Recent Phone Pics of Adlee!

I have been taking a lot more pics of Adlee on my phone than on my camera it seems like. Because I always have my phone by me for that reason, to get cute/fun pics.
Here are several that I have taken the last couple of weeks.

We went out for breakfast last weekend and Adlee got Mickey Mouse pancakes. That girl can eat some pancakes!























Adlee's friend Chloe has a Mustang so she gave her a ride when we got together with Chloe and her parents for pizza last weekend.
























Adlee's new hiding spot is under the little desk area in our kitchen. It was so funny, I had a lady come over to buy some hair bows off of me last week and Adlee hid under there looking up at her like who are you and why are you at my house.
























Adlee loves giving her doggies kisses. She loves giving everyone kisses. Just Friday night at the Football game, her boyfriend Cam gave her a kiss.
























Adlee and her friend Miley were cruising in their cars one night last week. Miley is our neighbor. One great thing about our street is there are tons of kids and we all play outside in the evenings!
























We went to the Bayern Stube for my Birthday and Steve's Birthday on the 16th.

Adlee's friend Taylor just left for College last week. She is going to Illinois State University. Taylor has babysat Adlee a few times and used to go to Vickie's when she was little so she still stops by Vickie's to see the kids and help Vickie out. We had Taylor over for pizza the night before she left!

Long Overdue Blog Post!

Wow, we have been busy the last couple of weeks! So busy I have not had time to really blog much, by the time I sit down I am wiped!

This weekend we started went to Kid's Day at the Park! It was so much fun. Adlee had a ball and had her picture taken with a clown. She did great!























Tonight we attended the Circus that came to town. Adlee had so much fun hanging out with her friends watching the Circus! We went to dinner afterwards and then got ice cream. It was about 100 degrees under the big top, we were all soooo hot.



























August 6th we had a Neighborhood Block Party! We had so much fun. The guys pulled grills out to the street and we had so much yummy food. We have so many kids on our street. 3 of the houses pulled out inflatables that the kids could jump in. Another neighbor brought out popsicles. It was a great afternoon and we all had so much fun!

























The day before the neighborhood block party, Adlee and I went to Miller Park Zoo with my Mom and Steve. Jeremy happened to get Pnemounia so we gave him a chance to be at home to rest that day. I had just had a mole removed surgically and wasn't really supposed to be lifting Adlee so my Mom and Steve came to help out.


















August 16th was my birthday. Jeremy had a school board meeting for the 2nd year in a row. It is also Steve's birthday as well, so my Mom and Steve came up and we went to the German restaurant for dinner. I had taken the 15th and 16th off of work to hang out with Adlee and we had a great couple of days.

On the 14th, Jeremy and I headed to St. Louis to go to a Cards game. We hadn't been to a game this year and it was a great little day trip. We had a quiet lunch together and went to the outlet mall and then headed to the game. The weather was really nice. We got to see Albert Pujols crank a home run out, longest homerun in Busch Stadium 3.





















We ran into Jeremy's Aunt Jeanine and Cousin Caroline at the game. They live really close to St. Louis.






















Adlee got money for her birthday to buy a swingset. On one of my days off I took her to the bank to take money out of her savings account to purchase her swingset. We got a great used swingset from our neighbor. Adlee got the pink swing as a gift for her birthday. She loves swinging on her swing and goes "Weeeee" every time she swings!





















We have had a blast the last several weeks! Although I am ready for Fall, I also don't want the Summer to end. We have enjoyed grilling out quite a bit, hitting up Dairy Queen, playing outside and seeing all the neighbors outside. It is hard to believe that this Friday is the first home football game for the High School.

Jeremy is back in school now. Kids had their first full day today.

Adlee is doing so much new fun stuff every day. She is walking, although she gets lazy and still crawls. She talks A LOT! She loves saying her name, Mommy, Daddy, Dee, Boom Boom (Lucie), ball, dog, hi, bye, and many many more. She basically repeats everything we say. She is a little lover and loves to give us hugs and kisses. Whether she gives us a hug or her baby doll she says "Awww..." every time. It is so precious! We love our baby girl so much!
