All Things New!

Today, we took a trip to our soon to be new home town to meet with the closet shelf guy to pick out how we want our closet shelving organized. Another thing to check off the list! Still very exciting. We hit a restaurant in town and tried it out. It is nothing fancy by any means but definitely a good place to be able to go with a large menu and they serve breakfast all day. We got to talk to 3 of our soon to be neighbors and it is so exciting because everyone is young and close to our age. We are the only couple without kids yet though. So our street will be a busy one. But looking forward to the new friendships and acquaintances the new town will bring.

My new aviator shades I got for $1.99 at NY & Co. Jeremy calls me Maverick from Top Gun.
"Negative ghostrider, the pattern is full" Whatev! I like them and they match my shirt! I normally don't like to take pictures of myself but I had to so everyone could see what my husband is making fun of me about!

Address block in the brick...pretty exciting!

The brick on our house. We are pretty excited it turned out so nice and we love the colors. It will look great with the siding and black shutters and black front door.

The siding is getting close to being finished.

The view of our house from the school Jeremy will be Principal.

The Principal's Office!!! Still needs some decorating but is shaping up!

On Thursday, Jeremy was asked to fill in for the retired Principal in a golf outting in Gibson City. He clearly was the youngest on the foursome. He had a blast. The Golf Outting was for the Gibson Area Hospital Foundation. He golfed with the Superintendent of Gibson City Schools and two other men that he had just met that day and I am proud to say they came in 1St place in the morning flight, there were approximately 51 teams in the tournament total.

Jeremy got this nice trophy!

The picture of Jeremy's team!
Please continue to pray for Jeremy's Grandma. She has had a rough week since her trach surgery. We plan to leave early in the morning to go visit her in Springfield at the hospital.
On this house front, we had a showing yesterday! We have not heard yet how it went, but we hope something comes about soon! Our neighborhood had a garage sale today and our neighbor told us that about 5 couples walked around our house checking it out. Wouldn't that be funny if it sold due to the result of a garage sale! I don't really care how it sells, just as long as it sells.
Thank goodness it is the weekend! Have a great weekend all!
