Oh The Weekend!

It has been a great weekend! I have enjoyed hanging out with Adlee and Jeremy this weekend.

This was Adlee last week before daycare. She has several Halloween outfits to wear so we have been wearing them for a few weeks.

Friday night we had some friends over. Little Chloe goes to daycare with Adlee and she is so funny and such a little joy. She is one busy little girl and she greets us at the door when we drop Adlee off at daycare. We have recently met her parents and they came over Friday night and hung out and we had pizza. Chloe was our entertainment for the evening.
This picture is funny because Chloe just turned 3 and Jeremy was laying on the floor and Chloe got on the floor right by him and layed down like he was and asked her Dad to take a picture of them with his phone...too funny! Her Mom texted me the next morning and said Chloe had been admiring the picture all morning.

Saturday, Adlee and I had a baby shower to attend for my friend Jackie, whom I grew up next door to and we lived next door to each other for many many years. Jackie is due with their first child in December. I laid Adlee on the floor to play while I wrapped Jackie's shower gift and this is how I found her. I think she was wore out from her play date with Chloe the night before.

We tried to get a good picture of Adlee and I at Jackie's shower. Adlee as too occupied with other things to look at the camera.

Jeremy had to work a tournament at his school so while we were waiting for him to get home Saturday evening we took a few photos:)

Playing in Bumbo!

This picture cracks me up:)

Everything is going in the mouth that Adlee grabs!

Adlee slept really well last night. She went to bed at 7:15 and didn't get up until almost 5, went back to sleep after eating and woke up again around 7:30. She was so tired.
This morning we decided to go have brunch at Jim Gould. I thought this picture of Adlee sleeping in the car on the way there was cute with her toys on her lap.

So, it's Sunday, you know what that means!!! Football, Football and more Football! When we got home we went upstairs to change and came back down and surprised Daddy with the Steelers jersey! We also had to find Daddy's Terrible Towel to toss around:) We have a Big Ben jersey which is fine, but since Big Ben has been kind of a bad boy we debated on if we should put our daugther in it...but until we can get a Mendenhall or Polomolu jersey, we will just be happy with Ben!

Here we go Steelers here we go!

Hanging out with Daddy watching football! Jeremy and I can't even tell you how much Adlee loves football. She will be laying on the floor playing and football will come on and she becomes really focused on the tv. If they switch over to an announcer she continues on with her playing....until football comes back on and she is glued to the tv again! It is actually quite hysterical.

All this football wears a girl out!

Big Ben almost blew it for the Steelers but they ended up pulling out a victory!

While Adlee was taking a little nap today, I made up treat bags for the kids at daycare. It is so much fun, even though Adlee can not partake in the treats, it is still fun to do for the kids as all the kids at daycare are really sweet kids.
The treat bags have lots of goodies in them. They goodies consist of little jars of playdoh, glow stick bracelets, Halloween stickers, a pencil, some M&M's, fruit snacks, gold fish and teddy grahams.

This weekend I had goals of getting a lot of hair bows made. These are not complete, I have not adhered the middle knots on them or adhered the clip or barrett, but this is what I got done between Saturday night and Sunday. Like I said they are not complete and don't look the greatest in the picture but you get the idea.

And these are the bows that I have completed thus far.

This week is going to be a busy week! I am hoping to relax a little bit over the weekend with Adlee and Jeremy since this week will be so busy!
Adlee has her 4 month Dr. appt tomorrow. She will get shots and we hope we get to start her on cereal.
I am looking forward to Friday! Jeremy will get to bring Adlee to my office trick or treating! The office is filled with children of employees and their parents! The kids all end up getting a ton of candy in our office too!
